Bat Kid: 10, 9, 8, 7…
Girl: Wow… Who are you?
Bat Kid: What a strange question? Can’t you see? I am a bat. My name’s Bat Kid. And who are you?
Are you a bat too?
Girl: Of course not. I’m a girl!
Bat Kid: I know, silly. I’m just pulling your leg.
Girl: What are you doing here? I’ve never seen you around before. Bat Kid: That’s because you
weren’t looking closely!
I’ve been living here for ages with my family and friends. Right now, we’re playing hide and seek.
Girl: Where are they?
Bat Kid: [whispering] All around you! Look carefully. Maybe you can help me find them.. Girl:
Hmm... I don’t see anyone. It looks pretty empty to me.
Bat Kid: Really? Take a closer look—check the fence...
Girl: Oh! There’s someone! I see two eyes peeking through the fence!
Bat Kid: Correct. That’s my brother, Sebastian. Now, look closely behind the well.
[............]
There you can see Kate, my little sister.
Girl: She’s so cute. And I can see another bat, she’s in the well.
[............]
Bat Kid: That’s Anna. Kate’s best friend. Girl: And who’s in the wheelbarrow?
Bat Kid: Which one?
Girl: The wheelbarrow which is to the left of the well.
Bat Kid: That’s Brian.
Girl: Look! There’s a stork over the house. It’s trying to land in its nest. It looks very angry.
Bat Kid: Why?
Girl: I know why. There’s a little bat between its children.
Bat Kid: Oh, yes. It’s Daniel. What’s he doing there? Perhaps he’s hungry.

Girl: I can see another one. There, on the solar panel. Bat Kid: This is Alex. I think he's
sunbathing now.
Girl: Sunbathing?
Bat Kid: Yes, sunbathing. We sunbathe pretty often. Look at the barn. There’s my big sister. Girl:
Where?
Bat Kid: On the roof. That’s Camila. She’s also sunbathing. Girl: That’s funny.
Bat Kid: Can you see anybody else? Girl: No.
Bat Kid: How about the pond?
Girl: Yes, you’re right. There’s a bat standing on a turtle. It looks like a pirate.
Bat Kid: That’s my best friend, Chris. He wants to become a sailor one day. And can you see the bat
at the bank of the pond? That’s Sam. He’s my friend too. I guess they are all bats in this
farmyard.
Girl: Hey, look over there, at the scarecrow! It’s moving. It’s got very big ears.
Bat Kid: Ha! They aren’t ears. They’re bat’s wings. There’s Franky, my little sister. She’s hiding
under the scarecrow's hat.
Father: Kate! Dinner’s ready! Time to come home! Girl: [reluctantly] Oh, I have to go.
It was so much fun meeting you!
Bat Kid: Bye! Come back and play with us anytime!

zad.3
[Verse 1]
I woke up early, ran down the stairs, There he was with fluffy hair.
A wagging tail and shiny eyes, A little bark, a big surprise!
Mom said, “He’s yours, go say hi,” I hugged him tight — I nearly cried.

[Chorus]
Now I’ve got a friend who runs so fast, He chases sticks and rolls on grass.
He licks my face when I feel blue,
My best friend’s real, my dream came true. We play all day, we snuggle tight,
He sleeps beside me every night.

[Verse 2]
We jump in puddles, race through the park, He howls at squirrels and barks at dark.
I taught him “sit” and “stay” and “paw,” He loves my socks — he chews them raw! We build
adventures, wild and new,
Just me and him — our world of two.

[Chorus]
Now I’ve got a friend who runs so fast, He chases sticks and rolls on grass.
He licks my face when I feel blue,
My best friend’s real, my dream came true. We play all day, we snuggle tight,
He sleeps beside me every night.

[Verse 3]
When I feel small or scared or sad,
He makes me laugh — he makes me glad. He doesn’t care if I’m a mess,
He loves me more, not any less. I’m never lonely, not anymore,
'Cause now I’ve got what I wished for.

1)
Teacher: All right children, let’s have some exercises. After an hour of sitting in a class you
need to stretch your body so stand up at the side of your desk!
Let’s do arm and side stretches. Stand tall and stretch your arms up as high as possible. Lean
gently to one side, then the other. Hold stretch for 5 seconds.
This exercise is very good for you. It relaxes your muscles and helps with better posture. Let’s do
it again!

2)
Teacher: Let’s do another exercise. You will like it, it’s called Rainbow Reach. How to do it:
stand tall with feet shoulder-width apart. Stretch both arms above your head, fingers spread wide.
Now slowly sweep your arms down in a big rainbow shape to one side, bending gently at the waist.
Count to 3 and sweep your arms back up and over to the other side, like drawing a rainbow in the
air.
Repeat 5 times on each side.
This exercise will stretch your body and get blood flowing in a calming way. 3)
[chatting]
Boy: She isn’t like a typical girl. She will like fantasy stories. You will see! Girl1: No, you’re
wrong. Believe me, I understand people…[suddenly stop]
Girl2: Hi, good to see you! I was wondering if you are coming to my birthday party tomorrow? Boy:
Of course, we are!
Girl2: Where are you going now? Boy: To the shopping centre.
Girl2: Great! Can I go with you?
Boy: [sounds discouraging] I’m afraid you will be bored... We’re meeting our parents and… Girl1: By
the way, do you prefer romance stories or fantasy books?
Girl2: Well, I think I prefer romance stories. Why?
Girl1: [turns to the Boy and speaks excited] I told you! I knew it. Boy: Will you be quiet, Emma.
Sorry Frankie, we must go. Bye!

Boy: What did you do?! You’ve just spilled the beans! It was supposed to be a surprise!

4)
Alex: Emma, what is it on the floor? Emma: Oh, this? I’m doing an experiment. Alex: What?
Emma: It’s a science experiment to see how the plant grows. You see, if you place the bean on a
cotton wool, it will soon open, a small root will grow down and a green shoot will grow up. This
experiment is to understand that plants need water, light, and air to live.
Alex: I didn’t ask for your experiment. I wanted to know who spilled the beans on the floor.

Boy: Wait… is that your phone, Lena? It’s glowing! What kind of phone is that?
Girl: This? It’s the Galaxy Phantom X9000 [bragging]. My uncle got it for me when he came back from
Japan. It has a hologram projector and a mood detector. It even changes color depending on how I
feel.
Boy: Pfft. That’s nothing. Mine is the iPhone Zeta Ultra AI. My cousin won it in a coding contest
and gave it to me. It literally talks to me—and not like Siri. I mean it gives me advice. Like
yesterday, it told me not to eat expired yogurt. Saved my life!
Girl: Your phone gives you advice? That’s weird. Mine can teleport digital pets into augmented
reality. Look - there’s my dragon! His name is Fluffster.
Boy: Okay, that’s kinda cool. But can your phone turn into a drone? Because mine can. Watch this.
Girl: Whoa! That’s awesome! But does it come back?
Boy: Uh… I think so. It usually… wait. Hey! No! Come back, Zeta! Girl: Your phone is flying toward
the roof!
Boy: Zeta! Return! I said RETURN! Oh no… it just landed on top of the gym! Girl: Guess it needed
some alone time. Maybe it’s giving itself advice now.
Boy: Not funny, Lena.
Girl: Okay, okay—sorry. But hey, at least now you can use my phone to call the janitor. Fluffster
can help too. He breathes sparkles!
Boy: This is officially the weirdest day ever. Girl: And probably the most fun.
Boy: Yeah. But next time, remind me not to show off flying phones at school. Girl: Deal. But can I
still show off my mood-color app?
Boy: Only if it doesn’t turn you bright red from embarrassment. [both laughing]

Man: Hey Martha, how was the concert at your music school? Did your brother do well?
Girl: Hello Dad. Ziggy did very well, but the concert was… wild! The music was great, but something
crazy happened!
Man: Oh? What do you mean?
Girl: Well, Ziggy’s band was performing last. He was on the drums, and his friend Emily played the
trumpet. There was also someone on cello and violin. And even a girl on the harp!
Man: Sounds like a full orchestra! So what happened?
Girl: Right in the middle of their second song, a cat ran across the stage - chasing a mouse! It
knocked over a music stand and nearly jumped into the audience.
Man: No way! What did everyone do?
Girl: Some people screamed, others laughed. One teacher really made a song and dance about it and
tried to catch the cat with his jacket!
Man: That must’ve been a show on its own!
Girl: Totally! But Ziggy and the band just played it by ear. They kept going like nothing happened.
I was so impressed.
Man: Wow, good for them. And how was Ziggy?
Girl: He was amazing—but of course, he had to blow his own trumpet after. You know how he is. He
told everyone he "saved the concert" by keeping the rhythm when the cat caused chaos. Then he
posted a selfie with his drumsticks saying, "The star of the show – as always!"
Man: [laughs] That sounds like Ziggy.
Girl: Yeah… Sometimes I feel like I play second fiddle to him. Everyone talks about how great he is
on the drums.
Man: Hey, I thought your solo on the violin last month really struck a chord with the audience.
Girl: Do you really think so?
Man: Absolutely. And you didn’t need a cat and a mouse to steal the show!
